World of Warcraft Profession Guide – Warrior

In World of Warcraft, the group that is the main tanking class are the Warriors, but still they can also be compelling dps, depending on what their spec is. Typically, they are mail armor wearers when leveling but they will change into plates since at level 40 which is the most suited for them once in higher levels

Their arms relies on their specs as well. Generally, tanks only use one-hand type of weapons with shields while the dps Warriors have the double-handed type of weapons.

Blacksmithing and Mining

Due to the fact that the Warriors wear plates, then the best suited professions for them would be Mining and Blacksmithing. By itself, Mining is a profession that is somehow related to the other primary careers and helps in speeding up the leveling and it has a buff called Toughness which will endow you with an increase of 50 in Stamina.

Preferably for the Warriors, Blacksmithing is something that they can use while leveling an playing. With Blacksmithing as one of their fundamental professions, Warriors can then craft bountiful of usable goodies like shields, weapons, armor sets, rods (that the enchanters really need), buckles and sharpening stones.

A classic example would be the Eternal Belt buckle which is a terrific add ornament for belts to any class that will improve the stats of its bearer; yet it will only work on belts that has no sockets for rare gems. In order to level up Blacksmithing, you need a Blacksmith’s hammer and a Forge.

You can locate plentiful of Forges in the major cities as well as a few number in the minor areas. If a certain Warrior decided to pursue Blacksmithing, on the long run they will have to select between two specializations of this career: Weaponsmith or Armorsmith.

If you go for Weaponsmith, you then have to choose another expertise: axes, maces, or swords depending your weapon of choice.

Alchemy and Herbalism

It is rather hard to find a Warrior who will select these two careers but there are still some who do take this up since it is also useful during raids, grinding, and instances. Healing potions and elixirs that will increase their armor value during the long haul of battle between the bosses are among the things that Warriors can’t get enough of. A few number of usable flasks that its effectively won’t die out even when the player is already dead.  Herbalism has a defense called Life Blood which can heal you for 2000 over 5 seconds. This buff is so essential for the Warriors since they don’t have healing abilities.

Other

Other professions that proves to be advantageous to them would be Jewel crafting, Enchanting, Inscription and Engineering. Inscription is nice since it would allow them to create Glyphs for their own consummate or sell them at the Auction House.

With Enchanting, they can enchant his gear such as the weapon, shield and armor. They could also benefit from the ring enchants which only an enchanter can do. Jewel crafting on the other hand will allow them to make unique gems that can be worn to increase their stats.

While Engineering is amazing because they get to create guns, bombs, lock and keys, etc. and some wonderful gear pieces like the Armored Titanium Goggles.
