How can I find a support group for my girlfriend, she was in a physically abusive relationship?

My new friend was a physically abusive relationship before she met in me. Your use Ex to physically beat them while they slept, with sticks and belt buckles. The stories she told me, are the heart break. He tied her to a radiator in order to beat them, he'd lost it before his own mother and children. This monster has no respect for a human being. I feel so bad for my girlfriend, sometimes right before she sleeps the whole experience a nightmare in their sleep. Your Body shakes and beat them does not cry.
